Job Description

Currently hiring for Press Brake Operators in the Nashville, TN area. As a Press Brake Operator you will work as part of the manufacturing team to ensure daily production goals are met. Press Brake Operators primary responsibilities involve operating, setting up, and maintaining press brakes and other machinery in shop with a focus on accuracy, safety, and quality.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities:
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine proper materials and fabrication requirements Prepare, set up, and adjust press brakes according to instructions, blueprints, and specifications Operate press brakes to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates Perform machine setup, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance Select the correct materials, track job times, and monitor progress to meet production schedules Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety Assemble components of products using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other equipment Perform adjustments to machine tooling and wheels to maintain product tolerances within specifications Complete production documentation to verify product quality
Press Brake Operator Qualifications:
2+ years of experience operating press brakes and interpreting technical drawings Strong understanding of safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance Good organizational skills, including tracking time and maintaining accurate documentation Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with safety gear Valid Driver's License Your own reliable transportation
