Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Duties Operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape sheet metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes. Set up tooling and adjust machine settings for various production runs. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain production efficiency. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. Assist in programming CNC machines as needed for complex parts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Experience Previous experience operating stamping presses or CNC machinery is preferred. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques, including laser cutting and welding. Basic understanding of programming machinery is a plus. Experience with lathe operations is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.
