CNC Press Brake Operator - South Location

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a CNC Press Brake Operator for a leading manufacturing company located in South San Antonio. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components that meet precise specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork. As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you'll be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating CNC press brake machines according to production drawings and specifications
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accuracy and quality
• Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools and making necessary adjustments
• Performing routine maintenance and reporting equipment issues promptly
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet daily goals and deadlines What you'll need:
• 1.5+ years of experience operating a CNC press brake (Amada, Trumpf, or similar preferred)
• Must have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting for 2-4+ years
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work occasional weekends and overtime

Perks:

• Pay range: $22-$34 per hour, depending on experience
• Consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends if needed
