By carefully planning each task, double-checking materials and setups, and maintaining focus throughout the process, form operators can prevent mistakes and deliver consistent, high-quality results. This mindset encourages accountability and continuous improvement, ultimately leading to better outcomes for everyone involved. Accurate Job Reporting Operators are responsible for clocking in and out on jobs and posting quantities accurately. This accountability ensures proper labor tracking, supports production planning, and maintains transparency throughout the manufacturing process. Form Operator Level 1
  • Ability to interpret drawings for dimensions, tolerance, and notations related to forming.
  • Proficient in the use of tape measures, squares, protractors, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Able to pull programs, set up, and operate CNC press brakes for recurring products.
  • Able to pull programs, set up, and operate CNC folders for recurring products.
  • Can make dimension and angular machine adjustments to support required part quality. Form Operator Level 2
  • Ability to interpret drawings for dimensions, tolerance, and notations related to forming.
  • Proficient in the use of tape measures, squares, protractors, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Able to efficiently pull programs and set up and operate CNC press brakes for all products.
  • Able to efficiently pull programs and set up and operate manual press brakes for all products.
  • Able to efficiently pull programs and set up and operate CNC folders for all products.
  • Can make dimension and angular machine adjustments to support required part quality.
  • Can effectively perform machine maintenance, such as calibrating, cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and changing filters for CNC press brakes, CNC folders, and manual press brakes.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot minor machine errors.
  • Ability and to train and support Level 1 operators as needed. Form Operator Level 3
  • Ability to interpret drawings for dimensions, tolerance, and notations related to forming.
  • Proficient in the use of tape measures, squares, protractors, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Expert in tooling selection, program generation, and the set up and operation of CNC press brakes.
  • Expert in tooling selection, program generation, and the set up and operation of manual press brakes.
  • Expert in tooling selection, program generation, and the set up and operation of CNC folders.
  • Can make dimension and angular machine adjustments to support required part quality.
  • Thorough understanding of controller and machine functionality for CNC press brakes, manual press brakes, and folders.
  • Expert in the processes and procedures for the forming and measuring of parts for bend depth data, entry of bend depth data, and the entry of material data into the machine databases for Safan press brakes.
  • Can effectively perform all internal machine maintenance, including but not limited to calibrating, cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and changing filters for CNC press brakes, CNC folders, and manual press brakes. Ability to support external maintenance providers as needed or required.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot most machine errors and obtain support from outside service providers when required to resolve the issue.
  • Ability to train and support Level 2 operators as needed.
Eyesight Requirement Must be able to read a Jager Level 2 eye chart from 16 inches, with or without the use of prescriptive lenses.
