Job Description:
GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.   • Press Brake Operator II (Sheet Metal / Fabrication) The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications.
This role requires strong experience with blueprint reading, machine setup, and precision forming, ensuring accuracy and consistency across production runs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines (CNC, hydraulic, or manual) Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions for bend specifications Perform machine setup including tooling selection, material alignment, and programming (if applicable) Bend and form sheet metal parts to required tolerances Adjust machine settings based on material type and thickness Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Perform deburring, cutting, or minor assembly as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area all safety procedures and company guidelines Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability

  • s proper safety procedures when operating machinery Summary of Education, Experience & Certification High School diploma or equivalent required.
