Job Description

Summit Body & Equipment has been serving the commercial truck and transportation industry in the Pacific Northwest for over 35 years. We build and upfit dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated vans, and specialty truck bodies for customers throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable, skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team in Ridgefield, Washington. This position is responsible for operating CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components used in the production of commercial truck bodies. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Perform accurate bends and forming operations to meet specifications. Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts using measuring tools. Load, unload, and handle metal materials safely. Work closely with fabrication, welding, and production teams to support manufacturing schedules. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and protractors. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Basic computer skills and experience with CNC controls are a plus.
