Job Description
Are you a skilled brake press set-up operator looking for a new opportunity? Or have you operated brake presses in the past and have a desire to increase your skills in set-up? If so, this position could be for you!
•Manufacturing experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude required As a Brake Press Set-Up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating brake press machinery to bend and form metal components according to blueprint specifications. This role requires precision, mechanical ability, and the ability to ensure parts meet strict quality standards through measurement and inspection. Responsibilities Set up brake press machines using proper tooling and setup procedures Operate equipment to bend and form metal parts to specification Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and consistency Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all production and safety procedures Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to travel if required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Please send your resume to grafton@seekcareers.com .
