Manufacturing Assistant

Reports to:

Cutting Supervisor, Trim Summary of Position:

Under the direct supervision of the Trim Supervisor, assists in the preparation, finishing, and delivery of cutwork for in-house and outside production teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work on the manufacturing floor in the cutting department, assisting the trim team with regular needs to support materials flow or any extra assistance required. Organization and QC of outside sew orders to ensure deliveries are accurate. Support sewing teams by processing trim recut requests. Assist in the requests and delivery of hardware and material. Monitor and organize the bundling of cutting materials, to include specialized cutting materials such as laser and poly are included. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of manufacturing environment. Ability to read and follow procedures Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (English and Spanish) would be beneficial for communication with all teams Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow Must be able to work with little or no supervision and work within a group setting Must be able to lift heavy bags of cutwork using proper lifting techniques
