EDM Operator Hubbell Incorporated United States, California, Carson Apr 28, 2026 Job Overview The Wire EDM Operator is responsible for operating electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision components according to specifications.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 - 27.00/hour DOE. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Set up, and operate EDM machines Inspect parts produced to verify conformance to quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure that it is running properly. Choose correct program and enter all necessary parameters into machine control Clean and conduct preventative maintenance of machines Keeps equipment and work area clean and organized. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gage, and indicators. Other duties may be assigned What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Wire EDM machine Ability to read and interpret blueprints Understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes Background in R D, prototyping, or high-mix environments Commitment to safety and quality standards Hubbell Incorporated Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
