ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Print Finisher Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for leading and executing high-quality finishing operations that ensure every project meets customer expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate has extensive bindery and finishing experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot finishing equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, and laminators Review job tickets and ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time Perform quality control checks on finished products Train and mentor junior finishing technicians Monitor finishing supply inventory and coordinate replenishment needs Maintain equipment performance through preventative maintenance and basic repairs Collaborate with production, design, and press teams to ensure project success Promote workplace safety and maintain a safety-first environment Support production goals, productivity standards, and customer requirements Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of print finishing or bindery experience, preferably in perfect-bound book production Strong knowledge of commercial print finishing equipment and processes Experience with Horizon BQ470 and Challenger CMT130 is a plus Ability to read job tickets, schedules, purchase orders, and production documents Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Commitment to Outreach's Mission, Vision, and Core Values
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Experience leading or mentoring team members Knowledge of workflow optimization and production efficiency
