Learn more at AMPSortation. AMP is hiring a Sorter Operator in Portsmouth, Virginia. A Sorter Operator is an individual who aids plant staff in preparing material for processing, baling, inventorying, and shipment. They are familiar or can be familiar with a fast-paced manufacturing environment and working safely. As our Sorter Operator, you will work to: Segregate various materials including cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum in a fast-paced environment. Keep the plant and areas clean of debris. Clean equipment as needed. Maintain a reliable attendance record. Collaborate with team members to provideprehensive training for new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Must be flexible

Required Skills:
