Print Production Manager

Responsibilities:

Implements the vision and business plan of the Owner on a day to day basis Oversees and manages the overall day-to-day production operations of the business Implements principals of lean manufacturing and workflow processes Maintains strong relationships with vendors and coordinates purchasing efforts to ensure adequate paper, toner and other materials are in inventory to complete jobs on time Knows and understands the capabilities of the print and bindery equipment and uses this knowledge to efficiently schedule production Maintains relationships with trade printers and binderies and manages sublet vendors as required Provides support to the sales team; serves as a liaison between sales and operations ensuring on-time delivery of products and services

Requirements:

Must be very structured and process-oriented Must have experience operating digital printers, wide format and bindery equipment Must be able to implement policies and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products. Above average in computer systems Prefer experience with design software Experience with direct mail and variable data projects are preferred Must be able to effectively communicate internally through verbal and written communications. 5-10 years print industry management experience preferred
