Experienced Bobst (Flat Bed Machine)

Die Cutting Operator Position Summary:

The Bobst Die Cutting Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operation of the Bobst Die Cutter. Responsible for board changes and set-ups. Maintains high quality standards and throughput expectations. Maintains equipment to include cleanliness and required PM's as scheduled.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for set-up, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of a Bobst SP 104E Die Cutter and all related equipment.
• Maintain consistent and quality production with detailed documentation and testing for each job.
• Maintain machine functionality through efficient operation and adjustments.
• Quickly and effectively troubleshoot quality and maintenance issues.
• Achieve all product order specifications including following job sequence and material verifications.
• Communicate regularly with manager on job status and production.
• Train new operators and communicate effectively to ensure quality attributes are followed and efficient operations are maintained.
• Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork, quality checks and reporting for each job along with maintenance and operational programs.
• Oversee helpers and ensure they follow all established operational and quality processes, safety procedures and comply with all production requirements.
• Must be hands on and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Vigilantly monitor machine operations to produce quality blanks at established rate while troubleshooting any machine and/or quality issues.
• Comply with all safety, quality and production processes and controls.
• Able to use various material handling equipment to move materials and manually lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours/day, willing and able to work overtime as scheduled.
• Attendance and punctuality are critical as you are a key player in our ability to succeed.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience operating a Flat Bed Die Cutter. (Bobst a definite plus)
• Proven track record of success in previous Operator position
• Mechanically inclined
• Self-starter, motivated
• Safety, Quality and Production focused
• Excellent problem solver, analytical thinker.
• Works independently, strives for success.
• Excellent attendance a must
