An associate degree or equivalent experience, along with three or more years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, is required. You will need at least five years of hands-on experience in sign or graphics production, including vinyl and digital printing, as well as supervisory or management experience in large-format digital print and plotter production. In this role, you will use your skills, knowledge, and experience to supervise production staff, maintain schedules, coordinate workflow, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality requirements are met. You will manage the production department, including plotter cutting, finishing, and packaging. You should also be able to troubleshoot jobs as needed, support a quality-focused approach, and recommend ways to reduce costs or improve operational efficiency. Core Technical Skills
  • Ability to operate and program vinyl plotters and digital printers to produce high-quality vinyl graphics.
  • Knowledge of RIP software for vinyl plotters and large-format printers, with experience producing fleet and vehicle graphics.
  • Experience with laminating, weeding, trimming, pre-masking graphics, and operating cutting plotters and laminators.
  • Understanding of various vinyl types, substrates, masking materials, and foam adhesion. Skills & Attributes
  • Strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a results-driven mindset that connects team performance with production output.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, assembling, and packaging.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for daily collaboration with Human Resources and production teams.
This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are essential to ensure materials and equipment are available to meet production needs. Effective communication and time management skills are also needed to guide and coach employees while helping the team work efficiently without compromising quality. Other Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. and work in a hands-on production environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of company-sensitive data and compliance with company safety and quality standards.
