Job Description

Flocking Supervisor Job Summary:
General Supervision of the Flocking Department. Delegating responsibilities, scheduling of parts to run and the issuing of job assignments.
Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail. Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with the ability to lead and direct subordinates. High school diploma or GED is required.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Print production schedule, set job priority and back-ups for all shifts 2. Scheduled jobs to be ready for production at the start of each shift. 3. Responsible for the assignment of opertors. 4. Responsible to ensure proper job set-up and print proper labels for job. 5. Ensure that first sot approval is obtained from Quality Inspector. 6. Ensure operator acknowledgement sheets are signed by operator and initialed by supervisor. 7. Ensure all hourly checks of all jobs are being done. 8. Quick and professional response to operator or quality personnel questions or concerns on part quality. 9. Record all process changes, correction of a quality issue, on the Job Set-up Sheet and obtain quality technician signature. 10. Record pertinent shift events in supervisors' log. 11. Make sure equipment not scheduled for upcoming shift is properly shut down. 12. Assist upcoming shift with job start-up/set-up and prime line schedule. 13. Make sure each operator receives required training. 14. Work with quality personnel to determine disposition of rejected parts. 15. Ensure rejected parts that need sorting are sorted at the time they are found on that shift. 16. Maintain daily 5s procedures 17. Must know how to produce labels, scan moves, and combine splits, production scans. 18. Know and follow all IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
policies and procedures. 19. Adherence to Company Policies and Regulations. 20. Performs other duties as assigned. Input of scrap and down time. 21. Ensure flock is being sifted daily.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
