Job Description
Bindery Operator M-F 7a-3p, $15.75 per hour Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust bindery equipment including folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, and adhesive binding machines. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and production goals are met. Read and interpret job specifications to properly configure equipment and maintain workflow. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine machine adjustments and maintenance. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Qualifications Previous bindery, printing, or related manufacturing experience required. Experience operating and adjusting bindery equipment. Ability to read job orders and machine operating instructions. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to use hand tools and perform machine adjustments. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
