Job Description As a Winder Operator, you'll be an integral part of a crew that operates two production lines, working collaboratively to ensure safe, high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The expectation is to consistently deliver quality packaging and products for our customers. Key Responsibilities Operate winders, packaging machines, and banding equipment efficiently Follow all plant, environmental, and safety regulations Track, manage, and report scrap and seconds Perform quality checks and document results at specified intervals Maintain cleanliness and perform housekeeping at workstations/machinery Support training and development of team members Participate in plant programs (Safety, Quality, TPM, Housekeeping) Assist with web break repairs and product changeover procedures Monitor alarms and respond accordingly Load, stack, and move material as required Use basic computers and various software (Excel, Outlook, MII, Ignition, SAP) Communicate issues and coordinate with other operators and supervisors Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or process-related experience preferred Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and communication skills Basic mathematics proficiency Basic computer skills for data entry and production support Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrates positive work ethic and safety-first mindset Flexible with work schedule and able to work overtime as needed Must be at least 18 years old and able to remain drug free Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts (with breaks) Must wear required PPE and work around varied temperature, noise, and production environments Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs., bend, twist, squat, walk, sit, and stand as required Ability to distinguish colors and shading Exposure to ink, dust, dirt, fumes May need to be certified to operate a forklift Benefits & Perks Competitive pay and shift flexibility Opportunities for training and growth Comprehensive safety programs and support Work with a supportive and high-performing team 10277803 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
