Job Description

10PM - 6AM Job Summary:
The Folding Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folding equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical printed inserts and outserts. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate G&K and/or Vijuk folding machines in accordance with customer specifications and job tickets. Ensure folded materials meet quality standards, with correct dimensions, folds, and barcode placement. Follow all cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in daily tasks. Set up and calibrate electronic barcode scanning and verification systems as required for specific jobs. Conduct quality checks throughout the production run to ensure consistent performance and accuracy. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on folding equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of jobs. Record production data and document equipment issues or maintenance activities as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety protocols and company policies. Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality control, and team members to coordinate workflow and resolve production issues.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability. Familiarity with cGMP standards and adherence to SOPs in a regulated production environment. Ability to set up, operate, and adjust electronic barcode scanning/verification systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs as needed. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, based on production needs.Benefits:
