Essential Functions:

Maintain a safe, organized work environment. Setup and run various grinding jobs within given time requirements. Setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines when necessary. Perform inspection to ensure good quality. Run production grinding work. Perform daily preventative maintenance routines on grinding equipment. Produce quality products that well represent MWI and you. Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to comply with MWI, Inc. standards of operations. Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company.

Qualifications:

Advanced Blue-print reading skills. Experience dressing forms in grinding wheels. (Radii/Angles) Ability to setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines. Able to hold tolerances .0002" size and 0.0004" Able to design and fixture parts as necessary to complete jobs. Ability/Availability to work overtime in order to meet customer requirements. Ability to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators, CMM experience a plus. Shop math skills. (strong trigonometry) Strong problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills to allow proper communication between co-workers and management. Ability to work to metric dimensions. Experience with Lean and ISO systems. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
