WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operatemercial label inspection and slitting equipment, interpreting job specifications to select appropriate dies, cores, rewind methods, and machine settings for accurate production. Inspect finished products for quality, verifying color, , die cuts, perforations, dimensions, quantities, and packaging requirements while monitoring material flow and making machine adjustments as needed. Review job documentation to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are met,pleting production paperwork and preparing finished goods for customer shipment. Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade replacement and preventative maintenance, while assisting with cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging operations to support efficient workflow.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or GED required, with at least one year of experience in a manufacturing, ing, packaging, or related production environment. Ability to read and interpret job specifications, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and workplace safety procedures. Strong measurement and inspection skills, including the ability to accurately use rulers, scales, and other precision measuring devices. Solid mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and basic arithmetic to support production accuracy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, reaching, twisting, and manual dexterity. Candidates must have sufficient visual acuity to inspect ed labels for quality and color accuracy and be able to work safely around moving machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
