Production Supervisor / Plant Manager Job Overview We're growing our pressroom team and are looking for UV Press Operator Trainees and Experienced UV Press Operators . Whether you're eager to learn a skilled trade or ready to step in with hands-on experience, this role offers the opportunity to work with advanced UV printing technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Placement and responsibilities will be based on experience, with training provided for trainees. What You'll Do Responsibilities Vary Based On Experience Level Set up and operate UV printing presses Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and print specifications Perform press make-readies and maintain run-speed standards Change plates, blankets, and cylinders as needed Monitor print quality, including ink coverage, density, registration, and color accuracy Match color proofs and customer samples Minimize waste and downtime by monitoring production performance Perform routine cleaning, wash-ups, and basic maintenance Accurately record press time, materials, and production data Troubleshoot press issues and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures
What We're Looking For Trainees:
Mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
Experienced Operators:
Prior experience operating UV or offset printing presses Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Flexibility to work varying schedules, including future 12-hour shifts Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the production floor Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper safety techniques
