Essential Functions:

Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines Read work orders to determine properly preformed products are produced Maintain accurate production records Communicate information as needed to employees, shift supervisor and next shift group leader or machine operator Ensure high levels of production, maximizing efficiency with planned work assignments Maintain a clean work area ensuring a safe working environment Train new operators as needed Oversee general preventive maintenance on equipment Operate equipment as necessary to maintain productivity during the operator's absence Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Performance Measures and Outcomes Adherence to safety policies and procedures Quality of work Production goals Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
