In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting high-speed folding equipment in a fast-paced print and mail production environment. This position is responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, accuracy, and timeliness while following all company processes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties :

Set up and operate high-speed folding machines according to job specifications and production tickets. Load paper of various sizes, weights, and textures. Adjust folding plates, rollers, guides, and machine settings for proper operation and fold quality. Perform routine troubleshooting and minor mechanical adjustments to maintain machine efficiency. Conduct frequent quality checks to ensure folds, alignment, counts, and finished products meet company and client standards. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production issues, or material defects to supervisors or maintenance personnel. Package finished materials into boxes, label cartons correctly, and stage completed work in designated areas. Maintain accurate production records, system entries, scans, and job completions in Presswise or other production systems. Follow all production schedules and prioritize work to help meet daily deadlines and service level expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist in other production areas as needed. Follow company safety procedures and quality control processes. Work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts during peak production periods when required.

Education, Training, Skills and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous print, mail, folding, bindery, or manufacturing experience preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to read and follow production tickets and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to be standing for up to 12-hour shifts. Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50-70 lbs. and carry paperwork related products from ground or waist level depending on the machine. High stress during peak busy periods.

Pay:

Up to $23.00 per hour
