Position Overview As a Brake Press Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for the setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of Amada brake press machines. PUNCH/LASER OPERATOR RPM
Staffing is seeking skilled and motivated 1st and 2nd shiftPunch / Laser Operatorsin Rowlett, Texas. The well qualified candidates will have experience operating punch presses and laser cutting equipment, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate punch and laser cutting machines to produce quality parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe work practices at all times. Perform preventative maintenance and routine machine inspections according to established checklists. Complete and document required weekly machine maintenance activities. Interpret blueprints, travelers, work orders, and related documentation to ensure accurate production. Configure machine settings and job setups based on material type, thickness, and production requirements. Select, maintain, sharpen, and properly store punch tooling; keep the tool crib organized and maintained. Understand metal characteristics, thicknesses, and grain directions as specified on production documents. Inspect finished parts for burrs, burns, slag, and other defects, making machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. Complete required sampling, quality inspections, and production documentation accurately. Identify and report equipment, tooling, documentation, or process issues in a timely manner. Report any machine safeguards or safety-related concerns immediately to the Supervisor. Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and other departments to support production goals. Utilize proper punch tooling techniques, laser cutting practices, deburring methods, and efficient manufacturing processes. Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications & Requirements Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities listed above. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a commitment to leading by example. Experience operating Pega punch machines and laser cutting equipment preferred. Knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, and parameter adjustments for various materials and thicknesses. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment. Ability to safely lift and handle parts weighing up to 35 pounds. Ability to assist in other shop functions as needed within reasonable physical exertion limits. Forklift operation experience preferred or willingness to become certified. MAINTENANCE LEAD RPM

This role is ideal for a maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys balancing technical expertise, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. Position Summary The Maintenance Lead is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, reliability, and performance across all manufacturing operations. This position goes beyond reactive maintenance and requires ownership of preventive maintenance programs, spare parts management, contractor coordination, and technician development. As the site's primary maintenance leader and technical resource, you will partner closely with Operations to reduce downtime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and support long-term manufacturing growth. Key Responsibilities Lead all maintenance activities across fabrication, assembly, paint, finishing, facilities, and utility systems. Develop, manage, and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. Respond to equipment breakdowns, coordinate repairs, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures. Manage and maintain the CMMS system, ensuring accurate work order creation, prioritization, and completion. Establish and maintain an effective spare parts inventory strategy to support operational reliability. Coordinate external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, equipment installations, and facility improvement projects. Support capital equipment projects from planning through commissioning, including operator and technician training. Monitor and report key maintenance metrics, including equipment uptime, PM compliance, and OEE trends. Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians through hands-on leadership and cross-training initiatives. Partner with Production leadership to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems. 2+ years of maintenance leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills. Experience with CMMS systems and formal preventive maintenance programs. Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred PLC troubleshooting experience. Experience with CNC lasers, punch presses, press brakes, paint/finishing systems, and material handling equipment. Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
