Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace Description Smyth Companies | Green Bay, WI | Full-Time Smyth Companies is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead our Press and Finishing operations on 2nd shift at our Green Bay facility. This role is responsible for leading a safe work environment while driving quality, productivity, and team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate is a floor leader who can build strong teams, stay informed, make quick decisions, and act decisively.   • Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Overtime and occasional schedule flexibility as business needs require Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise Press and Finishing operations on assigned shift
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture with safety as the number one priority in all decisions and actions
  • Ensure quality standards are met and support teams in delivering products that meet customer expectations
  • Drive production performance and productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and provide hands-on support where needed
  • Coach, train, and develop employees while creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork
  • Escalate and address production issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain schedule attainment
  • Partner with Scheduling, Customer Service, Maintenance, Quality, and leadership teams to ensure priorities are aligned
  • Monitor staffing, labor utilization, machine performance, and workflow throughout the shift
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput
  • Lead by example and foster a positive work environment
Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or Technical/Vocational degree
  • 5+ years of flexographic printing or label manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make decisions with urgency
Preferred:
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or printing environment
