Lead Binder Operator Trade Design - 5.0 Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Coating Color calibration implementation Manufacturing facility Machining Screen printing Full Job Description Overview The Bindery Lead Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining binding equipment to produce high-quality finished books. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a bindery or print manufacturing environment is an advantage. Experience in screen printing a bonus Duties Set up and operate binding equipment according to job specifications Adjust feeders, cutters, collators, drills, shrink wrappers, perfect binders, punches, coil and twin loop and coating machines for optimal quality Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment Read and follow job tickets and production schedules Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Work collaboratively with other bindery and pressroom staff Skills Previous experience in the printing and bindery industry Knowledge of bindery processes and finishing equipment Experience with screen printing highly desired Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs] Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime or shifts as required
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
