Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Silk Screen Printer, where your creativity and technical skills will bring vibrant designs to life on a variety of products. Duties Set up and operate silk screen printing equipment, ensuring proper registration and alignment of designs. Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing, maintaining optimal color accuracy and consistency. Manage prepress tasks including film stripping, stencil creation, and layout design using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure vibrant colors and sharp images meet specifications. Troubleshoot technical issues with screen printing machinery, CNC equipment, or flexo presses to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards; perform routine maintenance on printing equipment. Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to refine layouts, typography, and print advertising materials for optimal results. Qualifications Proven experience in screen printing with a strong understanding of color management and layout design principles. Familiarity with prepress processes, including graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of manufacturing environments, CNC machining, flexo presses, and quality control procedures. Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus. Basic understanding of typography and print layout techniques for commercial applications. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
