In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will ensure precise color management, accurate layout design, and adherence to quality standards, contributing to the creation of vibrant, professional print products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge printing technology and be a vital part of a creative production environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Set up and operate silk screen printing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Prepare screens, inks, and substrates according to project specifications, including prepress adjustments for color accuracy and layout design. Manage color registration and consistency across multiple prints using color management techniques. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect and correct defects or inconsistencies. Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs or CNC machining as needed. Collaborate with graphic designers to interpret print advertising layouts and ensure accurate reproduction of artwork. Assist in inventory management of inks, screens, and other materials necessary for production workflows. Qualifications Proven experience with screen printing processes, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of prepress procedures, color management, typography, and layout design principles. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for preparing artwork files. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and related machinery such as flexo presses or CNC equipment is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for material handling. Understanding of quality control standards within a printing or manufacturing setting. Basic mechanical skills related to machining or CNC operations are advantageous.
