In this role, you will lead a team of press operators, manage press setup and maintenance. Your expertise in various printing techniques, color management, and prepress processes will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing environment. Duties Operate and supervise flexo presses, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Oversee press setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain consistent print quality Manage prepress activities including layout design, typography, color management, and proofing using Adobe Creative Suite tools Monitor quality control throughout the printing process, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications Coordinate with the manufacturing team to optimize workflow, including forklift operation for material handling when necessary Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment and CNC machinery to prevent downtime Implement best practices in screen printing, print advertising production, and layout design for various projects Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate production records Experience Proven experience operating flexo presses or other high-volume printing machinery in a manufacturing setting Strong background in screen printing, prepress processes, and color management techniques Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Knowledge of CNC machining, typography, layout design, and quality control standards in print production Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment Experience managing or leading a team of press operators or production staff is preferred Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
