In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed designs on various apparel and promotional items through manual screen printing techniques. Your expertise will help bring creative visions to life, ensuring each product meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship. Duties Set up and prepare screen printing stations with appropriate inks, screens, and substrates to ensure optimal print quality. Operate manual screen printing presses with precision, applying designs onto garments or other materials according to specifications. Mix and match ink colors accurately using color theory principles to achieve desired hues and effects. Inspect finished products for consistency, clarity, and adherence to design specifications; perform touch-ups as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work area, screens, and equipment to ensure smooth operations and longevity of tools. Troubleshoot common printing issues such as misregistration, ink bleeding, or screen clogging to minimize waste and rework. Collaborate with design teams or clients to understand project requirements and execute prints that meet expectations. Skills Strong understanding of screen printing techniques and manual press operation. Knowledge of color theory, layout design, and visual aesthetics relevant to print production. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects for preparing artwork files. Experience with digital design concepts including typography, graphic design, and digital art creation. Familiarity with technical tools like SketchUp, Maya, or CAD software is a plus for understanding complex design projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings or digital files (HTML/CSS knowledge is advantageous). Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
