In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining envelope printing equipment to produce high-quality printed envelopes that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in printing, prepress processes, color management, and layout design will ensure consistent, vibrant results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production environment where quality and efficiency are paramount. Your skills in digital printing and machinery operation will help us deliver exceptional products for our clients. Duties Set up and operate our KirkRudy FireJet envelope press, ensuring optimal print quality and alignment. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production run to identify and correct issues related to print registration, color consistency, and material defects. Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating repairs or machining as needed. Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies and raw materials; coordinate with operations for timely replenishment. Operate pallet jacks or other machinery safely when handling boxes or pallets of raw material or finished products within the manufacturing area. Collaborate with design team on layout adjustments to meet project specifications and deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in digital printing, flexo press operation, or CNC machining within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management techniques, and layout design principles. Familiarity with typography standards and print advertising requirements. Ability to operate manufacturing machinery safely, including forklifts if certified. Attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards throughout production runs. Basic understanding of machining processes related to print production equipment is a plus.
