Based on experience About Us Embroico, Inc. is a busy custom decoration shop specializing in screen printing, embroidery, heat press, laser engraving, DTF, UV DTF, promotional products, and fulfillment. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Automatic Screen Printing Press Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on production role for someone who understands screen printing, takes pride in clean work, and can help keep jobs moving accurately and efficiently. Position Overview The Screen Printing Press Operator will be responsible for operating our automatic screen printing press, setting up jobs, checking print quality, and assisting with all screen printing production duties. The right person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment, following production instructions, communicating clearly with the team, and helping maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate an automatic screen printing press. Set up screen printing jobs on press. Load and unload garments during production. Register designs and make adjustments as needed. Monitor print quality throughout each run. Check print placement, color, registration, ink coverage, and overall cleanliness. Identify and report misprints, garment defects, ink issues, registration problems, or production concerns. Stop production and notify management when an issue needs attention. Prep screens for production. Coat screens with emulsion. Burn and wash out screens. Tape screens. Clean and reclaim screens. Mix or prepare inks when needed. Help maintain screen printing equipment, tools, and supplies. Keep the screen printing area clean, organized, and ready for production. Assist with folding, counting, organizing, finishing, or other production duties when needed. Follow company policies, safety rules, production instructions, and timekeeping requirements. Requirements Screen printing experience preferred. Automatic press experience strongly preferred. Must understand basic screen printing production flow. Must be reliable, punctual, and organized. Must be detail-oriented and care about print quality. Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly. Must be able to work on your feet in a production environment. Must be able to lift, move, and organize boxes or garments as needed. Must be willing to help with screen prep, cleanup, and general shop duties. Must be able to work as part of a team. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Automatic screen printing press operation Manual screen printing Screen coating, burning, reclaiming, and setup Ink mixing or color matching Apparel decoration Heat press DTF / UV DTF
Embroidery or general production shop experience Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who knows how to keep a press moving while maintaining quality. We are looking for someone who is dependable, focused, clean, organized, and able to catch issues before they become bigger problems. This is not just a button-pushing position. We need someone who understands production, takes responsibility for their work, and can help the team complete orders correctly and on time. Schedule Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be available or required depending on production needs.
