This role involves operating a Rotary Printing Press, maintaining top-notch quality standards. Your expertise will help bring continuous improvement and efficiency on the production floor. Duties Operate a Rotary Press to produce printed products according to specifications Set up printing equipment by adjusting settings, installing printing plates, and calibrating color management systems for optimal output Monitor print runs closely, making real-time adjustments to maintain quality control standards Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document operational activities Conduct quality inspections throughout production to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions Skills Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and quality control procedures in a high-volume environment Proficient understanding of the process and functions of the Rotary Press Requires very little assistance and can identify and correct most issues and challenges on the Rotary Press Understanding of mixing and matching inks and maintaining them Mechanical and operational understanding of the Rotary Press and related components Produces quality product and learns from errors and re-runs
