Digital Press Room Supervisor TDG/Forbes Mason City, IA $22.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00AM-2:30PM Position Summary TDG/Forbes is seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Press Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our digital printing department. This position is responsible for supervising press room personnel, ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating digital printing equipment, leading production teams, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the digital press room. Schedule and prioritize work to meet customer deadlines and production goals. Train, coach, and develop press room employees. Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications. Operate and assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of digital press equipment. Coordinate workflow with customer service, prepress, production, and shipping departments. Maintain accurate production records and performance metrics. Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in digital printing, commercial printing, packaging, or related manufacturing environments. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of digital press operations, print quality standards, and production workflows. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficient with computers and production software systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Preferred Experience Experience with Ricoh, Duplo, EFI Vutek M3h, Colex & Futoba or similar digital press equipment. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience. Experience in packaging, bindery, finishing, or specialty print production environments.
