Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Print Technician to join our innovative printing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials for a variety of projects, most including print pieces for apparel and custom graphics. Your expertise will ensure precise color management, efficient workflow, and exceptional quality control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge printing technology and contribute to visually compelling marketing and branding solutions. Graphic design knowledge and background are preferred. Duties Operate digital printing presses and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output Prepare digital files using graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, for print production Manage prepress processes such as file formatting, color calibration, and layout adjustments to meet project specifications Conduct color management procedures to guarantee consistency across different print runs and materials Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and troubleshoot technical issues promptly Implement quality control checks throughout the production process to detect and correct defects or inconsistencies Collaborate with design teams to refine artwork, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements Utilize CNC machining tools when necessary for custom fabrication or finishing tasks Maintain accurate production logs, inventory of supplies, and adherence to safety protocols Experience Proven experience operating digital printing equipment in a commercial or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques and flexo press operations is a plus Familiarity with prepress processes, including file preparation, layout design, typography, and print advertising standards Expertise in color management principles and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Understanding of manufacturing workflows related to large-format printing and finishing processes Ability to operate machinery such as CNC tools and forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred) Experience in quality control procedures to ensure high standards of print accuracy and consistency Knowledge of machining techniques used in custom fabrication or finishing tasks related to print projects Join us as a Digital Print Technician if you're passionate about producing vibrant visuals that captivate audiences!
