Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sheetfed Press Operator to join our vibrant printing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sheetfed printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will ensure precise color management, efficient workflow, and top-tier quality control, contributing to the success of our print production processes. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor sheetfed printing presses, ensuring optimal performance throughout the production run Adjust press parameters for color accuracy, registration, and print quality using advanced color management techniques Conduct prepress tasks such as layout design, typography adjustments, and proofing to prepare files for printing Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on presses to minimize downtime and ensure consistent output Implement quality control measures by inspecting prints for defects, color consistency, and adherence to specifications Collaborate with graphic designers and prepress teams to optimize print layouts and resolve technical issues Maintain detailed records of production runs, adjustments, and maintenance activities for accountability and continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience operating sheetfed presses in a manufacturing or commercial print environment Strong knowledge of prepress processes, including layout design, typography, and print advertising standards Expertise in color management systems and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for file preparation and editing Familiarity with flexo press operations, CNC machining, and CNC software is a plus for versatile skill set development Ability to perform basic machining tasks and operate forklifts safely within the production area Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure high standards in printed products Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently Join us as a Sheetfed Press Operator and become part of a passionate team committed to producing exceptional printed materials!
