Job Description
Graphic Screen Printing is a family-owned business that has proudly served the Chicagoland area from our current location for over 40 years . We specialize in custom apparel and screen printing for local businesses, organizations, schools, and events. We're looking for a dependable Screen Printing Press Assistant to join our production team. No screen printing experience is required—we're happy to train the right person in every part of the process. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and move up within the company. Responsibilities Check in customer orders and garments Prep jobs for printing Assist with screen setup and reclaiming/making screens Pull finished garments off press and organize completed orders Help maintain a clean and organized production area Support our lead press operator throughout the day Learn all aspects of the screen printing production process What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Team player with a positive attitude Able to stay organized and keep work moving Willingness to learn and take initiative Able to stand for long periods and perform physical work Comfortable working in a shop environment that can get warm during summer months Experience Screen printing experience not required Production, warehouse, or hands-on shop experience is helpful but not necessary Why Work With Us Family-owned local business with 40+ years in the community Training provided in all areas Fun and creative industry—every day is different Opportunity to grow your skills We promote from within and value employees who want to learn and advance Supportive team environment If you enjoy hands-on work, like staying busy, and want to build a long-term career with a local company, we'd love to hear from you.
