Responsibilities:
Press Operation:
Direct the setup and operation of high-speed web offset printing presses.Setup & Make-Ready:
Lead "make-ready" tasks, including hanging plates, threading the web, and adjusting folders.Material Management:
Oversee the loading of large paper rolls and ensure a consistent supply of ink, solvents, and consumables.Quality Assurance:
Constantly monitor the printed product for defects such as color shifts, smudging, or alignment issues to ensure high-quality standards.Maintenance & Safety:
Perform routine cleaning of rollers and equipment while strictly adhering to all PPE and safety requirements.Production Flow:
Manage the efficient removal, stacking, and bundling of finished products for the bindery or shipping departments.Working hours:
8:00 PM - 6:00AM Skills:
Attention toDetail:
Exceptional focus on color consistency and identifying print defects.Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience:
Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial or printing environmentEducation:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods of up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and perform repetitive movements.Mechanical Aptitude:
A sharp eye for mechanical alignment and the ability to maintain complex machinery.Communication:
