Screen Print Operator

The Point Apparel, an Embroidery and Screen Print company located in Covington KY, is one of three vocational enterprises of The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky, which serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in reaching their highest potential residentially, vocationally, socially and educationally. We have an immediate need for a part-time Screen Print Operator at The Point Apparel, located in Latonia, KY. This position will work 20-25 hours per week.

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Receives incoming product from vendors, and checks all product for quality. 2. Receives work orders and design specifications from management. 3. Exposes, shoots, and cleans screens. 4. Loads screens onto the press, registers screens in appropriate print order. Loads and unloads garments. 5. Monitors printing process for accuracy and quality. 6. Produces the final printed articles for customer purchase. 7. Lead a team of 1-3 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout the screen print process. 8. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years prior screen printing experience is preferred. Must be able to read and interpret work orders. Must be able to perform basic set-ups for screen print machinery (auto and manual press). Must be familiar with all machines required to perform primary responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization/time management skills. Other characteristics we're looking for in an ideal candidate: creativity, problem solving ability, initiative, ability to work well independently and as part of a team, positive attitude, and great verbal and written communication skills.

Pay:

$16.00 per hour
