Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing presses to produce high-quality print materials. Your expertise in screen printing, prepress processes, color management, and layout design will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced printing equipment and contribute to the creation of impactful print advertising and packaging. Responsibilities Set up and operate different types of printing presses, including flexo presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality output Prepare printing materials by adjusting color settings, layout configurations, and machine parameters using skills in color management and graphic design Conduct prepress tasks such as plate preparation, image alignment, and proofing to guarantee accurate reproduction of designs Monitor print runs for consistency, quality control, and adherence to specifications; make adjustments as needed during production Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime Inspect finished products for defects related to typography, layout errors, or color discrepancies; document quality issues for continuous improvement Operate forklifts or CNC machinery when required for material handling or component fabrication Experience Proven experience operating printing presses with a focus on screen printing or flexo press technology Strong knowledge of prepress procedures including layout design, CNC machining basics, and typography principles Proficiency in color management techniques using Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop or Illustrator Familiarity with quality control standards within manufacturing environments Ability to read technical drawings and understand print advertising specifications Experience working with machining tools or CNC equipment is a plus but not mandatory Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one is preferred Join our team and be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact the production of premium print materials!
