Our Earth City, Missouri plant is hiring Digital Press and Inkjet Operators . As a Press Operator , you play a vital role in the production of high-quality printed materials. You operate advanced printing equipment to ensure our products exceed industry standards and customer expectations. You exemplify excellent time management and attention to detail and understand the fast-paced production world. As a Digital Press/Inkjet Operator, you will:
- Read and understand job specifics from customer coded print tickets, set up and operate printing presses according to the specifications
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality standards, including color calibration and testing, checking for quality issues throughout job runs
- Perform basic troubleshooting, such as clearing jams/misfeeds, and place service calls when needed, and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency to meet our production and quality standards safely and accurately
- Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered during the print run As a Digital/Inkjet Press Operator, you have:
- Digital Press, Commercial Inkjet, Press Operator experience required (Ricoh, Canon/Oce = +)
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity for making small measurements, and the ability to differentiate colors
- High degrees of attention to detail and accuracy; flexible, open and willing to learn new processes
- Experience with (or the ability to learn) reading customer-specific work orders and instructions
- Punctuality, reliability, with excellent time-management and organizational skills
