PRINT OPERATOR

CompanyBox is looking for a full-time Print Operator to join our growing team on 1st and 2nd shift. Responsible for setup, running and troubleshooting of the HP PageWide C500 Press. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate digital print systems to produce high quality products. Verify colors by matching customer requirements per job Match proof with sample to ensure quality standards achieved throughout the job. Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform light machine maintenance. Coordinate raw materials required for daily workload. Accurately report and record daily production and scrap to ensure inventory accuracy. Ensure proper material handling and loading; maintain clean working environment, practice safe working habits. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of various types of printing systems for digital print preferred. 1 year of digital print experience required. Skills/Knowledge Computer skills. Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment. Strong organizational and communication skill. Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Physical/Work Requirements Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures. For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify manager/supervisor immediately. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 lbs. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.
