In this vital role, you will operate and oversee the first stage of the printing process, ensuring that high-quality print materials are produced efficiently and accurately. Your expertise in press operation, color management, and prepress procedures will be essential to delivering exceptional results for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced printing technology and contribute to the creation of visually compelling print advertising, packaging, and other printed materials. Responsibilities Set up and operate the flexo press or other first-stage printing equipment with precision, ensuring optimal print quality. Monitor color consistency and manage color adjustments using specialized color management tools to meet project specifications. Collaborate with prepress teams to review digital files, perform layout design checks, and prepare printing plates or cylinders. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect and correct issues related to registration, ink density, or image clarity. Maintain equipment by performing routine machining, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring safety standards are followed. Use CNC machinery when necessary for precise component fabrication or adjustments related to press setup. Support the manufacturing process by operating forklifts or other material handling equipment for loading raw materials and moving finished products. Document production data, troubleshoot technical problems, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow. Experience Proven experience operating flexo presses or similar high-volume printing machinery in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques, prepress processes, and color management principles. Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for file review and adjustments. Understanding of typography, layout design, and print advertising standards to ensure high-quality output. Hands-on experience with CNC machines, machining processes, or other manufacturing tools is a plus. Ability to perform quality control checks meticulously while adhering to safety protocols.
