Job Description
Perform all press make-ready functions in accordance with safety and quality guidelines Hang plates, load ink, load stock. Bring and maintain ink settings to and at proper levels. Verify job ticket specifications and assure that all materials needed to produce jobs are available. Run print jobs upon obtaining quality check approval from group leader or manager. Maintain consistency of quality throughout press runs. Remove plates and inks and wash-up press upon completion of orders and otherwise maintain the press in good working order. Troubleshoot problems with jobs and/or press as necessary. Report any press malfunctions or problems with jobs which cannot be easily resolved to either group leader or manager. Report any shortage or low level of press room supplies to group leader or manager. Performs other production tasks associated with Offset Printing. Performs other general tasks as assigned Previous Lithography experience required. Must be able to use scale and margin guides Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift Frequently lift 35 pounds or more, stand on feet long periods of time, and walk often. Use of hands and fingers to perform job function Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
