Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Direct Mail Print Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our in-house digital print facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with digital printing equipment, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage workflow, meet tight deadlines, and maintain exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily print production operations including printing, finishing, inserting, and mailing Supervise a team of support staff Operate and maintain high-volume digital printers and mail equipment Coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion of direct mail projects Collaborate with internal teams to verify print files and ensure data accuracy for variable printing jobs Ensure compliance with USPS regulations and optimize postal preparation process Perform quality checks throughout production to meet branding and quality standards Monitor inventory and order print materials and supplies as needed Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate service on print and mail equipment Analyze workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs maintain accurate records of production, materials usage, and job status
