We are proud to partner with a local print facility to fill a full time, direct hire Press Operator role. Press Operator - Fine Engraved Stationery Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our production team and operate Cronite and Baby Carver flat stamping intaglio presses in the production of high-end engraved stationery and specialty printed products. The ideal candidate will have experience with letterpress, foil stamping, embossing, and intaglio printing, with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain Cronite and Baby Carver intaglio presses. Produce fine engraved stationery using letterpress, foil stamping, embossing, intaglio, and small offset/raised printing techniques. Read and follow job specifications and production requirements. Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Experience operating letterpress, intaglio, engraving, or specialty printing equipment. Strong hands-on experience with letterpress, foil stamping, embossing, and intaglio printing. Knowledge of small offset and raised printing techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with Cronite and/or Baby Carver presses is preferred. Preferred Background Experience producing fine stationery, invitations, greeting cards, or other luxury printed products. Knowledge of registration, makeready, and specialty finishing processes. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
