Description Summary:

Sets up a variety of press equipment for the production of ceramic special, ceramic cutting tips and inserts to specified tolerances. The company (Greenleaf Corporation) provides on the job training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Verify that the proper dies and proper powder for the job are being run. Verify job to router. Verfiy that the equipment is operational. Start press and monitor press operations. Verify dimensions of finished work piece for conformance to specifications. Manually adjust press controls to correct for out-of-tolerance operations. Move stock out of department. Visually inspect all parts. Deliver to and retrieve parts from inspection lab. Load dies with powder in to the press, cycle the press, unload dies and remove. Cold press parts to remove from dies. Assist in rebuilding furnace zones. Comply with all quality, safety, work rules and regulations. Follow clean up and housekeeping procedures.

 40 - M-F; Day, Evening, Night shifts
