What Makes You a Solid Fit High school diploma required Previous printing press experience required; Heidelberg experience preferred Ability to pass Ishihara color vision test, mechanical aptitude test, and screenings Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Knowledge of press operations, color management, and print production Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple jobs Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Your Spot on the Line Set up and operate printing press equipment based on job specifications Review job orders for quantities, stock, colors, and special instructions Monitor press performance, adjusting speed and settings for quality and efficiency Supervise and direct press crew, including feeder operators Maintain color consistency and print quality throughout production Complete job documentation, including load tags, production data, and reports Perform press maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning during changeovers Ensure smooth shift transitions with presses running and ready Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime If your crew sticks with you, you're doing it right. 4 out of 5 say they'd refer us.
