Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Direct To Garment (DTG) Print Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing, prepress, and color management, with a passion for quality craftsmanship and innovative design. This role involves operating advanced printing equipment, ensuring color accuracy, and maintaining high standards of print quality across various apparel and promotional items. The Print Specialist will collaborate closely with graphic designers and production staff to deliver exceptional products that meet client specifications. Responsibilities Operate Direct To Garment (DTG) printers with precision to produce high-quality prints on apparel and textiles Manage prepress workflows, including image preparation, color correction, and layout design using Adobe Creative Suite Ensure accurate color management and consistency across multiple print runs Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and resolve issues promptly Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, including flexo presses or CNC machinery as needed Collaborate with graphic designers on typography, layout design, and print advertising projects Assist in the setup and calibration of printers for different job specifications Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols Experience Proven experience in screen printing, prepress operations, or direct-to-garment printing preferred Strong knowledge of color management techniques and graphic design principles Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) required Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as flexo press operation or CNC machining is a plus Experience with quality control procedures in a production setting Knowledge of typography, layout design, and print advertising is advantageous Prior work involving machinery operation like forklifts or other manufacturing equipment is beneficial but not mandatory Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
