Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality components through a variety of fabrication techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of complex structures, piping systems, and metal assemblies that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of metal components. Operate various power tools and hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, and pipe threading equipment to shape and assemble materials. Perform welding tasks using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) but not mandatory Measure, mark, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe with precision according to specifications. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot fabrication issues and ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards. Use schematics and blueprints to guide fabrication tasks accurately while verifying dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Engage in machining operations including plasma cutting, pipe threading, and mechanical assembly of parts. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Collaborate with team members on assembly projects involving complex structures or piping systems. Support quality control efforts by inspecting finished products for accuracy and compliance with industry standards using basic math skills. Skills Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, but not mandatory. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and understanding mechanical diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, power tools, plasma cutters, and pipe threading equipment. Ability to operate forklifts for lifting heavy materials during fabrication. Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing processes related to ductwork, piping systems, structural steelwork or other fabricated assemblies. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to material dimensions or tolerances. Experience working with schematics or technical drawings for precise fabrication tasks. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessels or structural steel fabrication is a plus.
